…and I should also say FLEXIBILITY!

On my way to this sesson, my senior’s mom called and said it was pouring in Winter Park which was where we were meeting for her daughter’s senior session. We decided to carry on with our plans because we had some nice big umbrellas and I thought we could do lots of her images on covered patios and porches. We got to our site and it was raining harder than ever! She didn’t even flinch though – just started looking gorgeous in her wonderful clothes and we were on our way. The rain and clouds defused the bright summer morning light, though and it was unbelievably pretty – couldn’t have planned for better light!

She was a natural in front of the camera – her eyes sparkled and her hair was beautiful. She has a serene beauty that perfectly suited our unusual weather. Enjoy some of our favorites – we had a hard time narrowing them down.

Had a wonderful time photographing this very cute girl earlier this summer and also, her family. I have said it before but I think it is a great idea to have mom, dad and siblings jump in a few images while I am doing your senior pictures. After all, because you are about to go out into this big, wide world means things are definitely going to change in your family. Why not capture the way things are today while getting your unique senior pics made? That way, when you are homesick for mom’s cooking or dad’s jokes – and you will be -  you’ll have great images of them all to enjoy forever.

These images were taken at New Smyrna Beach on a very warm day. We started at the beach on Flagler Blvd. and did some family shots then my senior and I wandered down the street looking for interesting buildings and photo opportunities! What we found was just right – great old houses painted in pretty beach colors, wrought iron gates, brightly painted stores, surf boards, mosaic tiles and lots of tucked away spots that she looked so pretty posed in.

Please enjoy these images of a very pretty senior and very pretty day in Winter Park!  She chose this particular day because she was enjoying the company of some friends from out of town and between the three of them, we hardly stopped laughing.  Her clothing perfectly complimented her gorgeous blonde hair and the scenery at this popular park. There was a slight breeze blowing and, yes, it was “our friend”! So, we enjoyed the columns, the lake, the bridges and even that slightly scary Rollins College crew dock. Senior year is in full swing for the Class of 2012 and I have loved photographing many of them.
